One reason to get satellite television instead of cable is the foreign language programming option. Sure with Comcast or TWC, you might be able to get a Spanish bundle in addition, but good luck with other languages there is not much to choose from.

One example to consider is programming in the Tagalog language, which is primarily spoken in the Philippines. Many immigrants now living in the United States speak this language, yet it is very difficult to find entertainment in their native tongue. That is where satellite TV companies like Dish Network and Direct TV come into the picture.

Due to the popularity of satellite TV systems, both Dish Network and DirecTV have enhanced their foreign language options. Dish Network Filipino programming can bring up to seven different channels into your home in the Tagalog language. The Pinoy Mega Pack headlines the offer from Dish Network, and is only .99 a month~99 each month}. Five different video networks and two 24 hour a day audio channels are available through this bundle.

If you just want a basic Filipino Dish Network package, that is not a problem either. The GMA Pinoy package drops the count of Filipino channels down to four, and the price is also lower, coming in at $19.99 per month. The Viva Pinoy pack is cheaper overall, .99 per month~99 each month} to be exact with three networks from the Philippines.

Now you might think that to get these great prices, one would also have to purchase to an English language bundle through Dish TV. The great news is that your are not required to do so, though you can add one of the Dish Network packages if members of your household would enjoy such programming. The only requirement to get these Filipino language channels is a two year commitment to Dish Network, and the addition of local channels which are .99 per month with a foreign language package.

So why settle for less entertainment, cable television limits the foreign language options? With Filipino TV packages from D ish Network, an entertaining alternative is available throughout the United States.
